Not only Japan, but many developed countries are suffering from a “lack of professional human resources” to the point where it can be said to be depleted, and this is a major issue that is affecting the prosperity of each country, industry, and company.
The reasons for the shortage of professional human resources are the uneven distribution of professional human resources due to the disparity in the popularity of employment by industry and the difficulty in obtaining the specialized knowledge necessary to enter the industry, and absolute shortage of professinal human resources due to the declining trend of the young population and restraint of recruitment during economic downturns.
